Washington State Attorney General files 2 counts of custodial sexual misconduct against the jail employee.

Justin Thomas Husom will appear in Franklin County Superior Court May 20th to answer to the counts.

The state charges allege Husom had sexual contact with two separate female inmates in the jail while they were under his custody at the Franklin County correctional center.

The case was referred to the Attorney General's office by Franklin County Prosecutors because of a conflict of interest.   The Franklin County Sheriff's office conducted the investigation after the allegations surfaced.

Husom reportedly admitted to receiving sexual "favors" from one inmate in exchange for a razor.  The 41-year-old Husom resigned from his position last month.   The investigation revealed the second alleged incident, although specific details of that encounter have not yet been made public.
