Gov. Jay Inslee will be stopping by our area next Monday.

Inslee is on a whirlwind tour of some various regions of our state, and Monday will be part of the swearing in ceremony for new Superior Court Judge Salvador Mendoza for Benton and Franklin County.

He is also expected to give remarks on actions taken on House Bill 1175, which offers some solutions to various criminal actions that have not been previously addressed.

According to Inslee's press release, his itinerary for his trip is as follows:

  • 3:15PM - Swearing-In Ceremony for Salvador Mendoza to Superior Court judge for Benton and Franklin counties at Benton County Justice Center (7122 W. Okanogan Place, Bldg. A, Kennewick)
  • 3:30PM - Bill Action on House Bill No. 1175 at the Benton County Justice Center
