Much like we saw recently nationally after Congressional leaders and the Obama Administration began their attack on the 2nd. Amendment,   gun sales go way up.

In the wake of King, Snohomish, Pierce and other West side counties pushing through the votes to pass the universal backround check gun law,    gun and sporting goods stores are seeing gun sales jump as much as 25-30%.

In Spokane,  sales have reached near-record highs for this time of year.  Instead of big booms in outdoor sporting goods and hunting gear, which usually happens in late fall,   retailers are instead seeing people buy firearms.

As one store owner put it,   the attitude seems to be "I need to buy it before I can't."

Retailers also say there's rampant confusion over the new law, which goes into effect in December.   Due to vague and confusing language,  some believe they cannot even have another person hold their gun for them while they are hunting or target shooting at a gun range.
