The total amount of fraudulent pay was over $100,000, say officials.

The five managers responsible for thousands of dollars of false overtime claims go on trial today,  accused of scheduling workers for shifts of overtime, then letting them go early.

The managers also allegedly scheduled overtime for themselves.  The fraud occurred between 1999 and 2008, when CH2MHill had the contract for the Hanford tank farms.

The amounts paid to the supervisors varied from $12,000 to $64,000 in overtime.

9 tank farm workers provided evidence that will be used against the supervisors in the trial.
