Hit-And-Run Drivers Cause Havoc in Kennewick
Kennewick police were kept busy with a couple of wild drivers very early Sunday morning.
An unnamed 19-year-old woman thought it was OK to try to DRIVE AWAY after plowing through a fence near Yelm St. and Highway 395. She fled likely because she had a suspended license and an outstanding arrest warrant. She was quickly nabbed by police. What's left of the fence is pictured above.
Then a drunk 23-year-old man played pinball with not one but two parked cars near Albany and Buntin streets. He was injured in the crash, and after fleeing the scene, was arrested several blocks away. He was spotted by officers, limping noticeably from his injuries.
Both drivers are in the Benton County Jail on multiple charges.
