Here's the latest update we have on the Kennewick teacher's strike. From KSD release.

"KSD BOARD CALLS ON UNION TO TAKE MOST RECENT OFFER TO ITS MEMBERS FOR VOTE

KEA rejects same pay as Pasco in years 1-15 and Richland in years 16-18, demands that teachers make more

This morning, the Kennewick Education Association (KEA) bargaining team notified the district that they have rejected the district’s latest offer that would have matched salaries from Pasco in years 1 to 15 and Richland in years 16 to 18.

In a response to the district’s latest proposal, the KEA sent a demand that all KSD teachers get, on average, an additional .55% of pay beyond what Pasco and Richland teachers are paid in those years. This would cost the district $537,853 more. The KSD has rejected this proposal."

It's presumed the negotiations are continuing.
