Multiple suspects are in the Benton County jail after an assault Sunday that left the victim bloodied.

According to Kennewick police, 18-year-old Damien Gooldy, and a 16-year-old male and female were captured after a disturbance at the Crown Village Apartments.

Shortly before six pm Sunday,  police responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot, bricks were being thrown. 22-year-old Noel Rodriguez was found at the scene suffering from minor injuries to his face and body. The suspects left the scene before police arrived.

He told police his backpack had been stolen, and it contained an undisclosed amount of marijuana. Rodriguez knew the identity of the 16-year-old female, and police were able to locate her and the rest of the suspects, who were taken into custody and are now facing a variety of charges. The stolen backpack has not yet been recovered.
