Masked Gunman Robs Kennewick Smoke Shop

A remarkably clear surveillance image was captured of this suspect.

Just after 7pm Wednesday night, the man pictured walked into Headie's Tobacco and Smoke Shop at 5623 West Clearwater, and told the clerk he had a gun.

He demanded money, and when she was reportedly slow to respond, police say he pulled a black semi-automatic pistol out of his coat and pointed it at the clerk.

After getting the money, he fled on foot Eastbound. Anyone with any information is urged to call the Kennewick Police non-emergency Dispatch line at (509)-628-0333. All leads are confidential. This is the second time in less than three weeks that a Kennewick smoke shop has been hit. Pandora's Box, also on West Clearwater, was robbed two weeks ago.
