Police now have a suspect in custody after a Monday stabbing sent one man to the hospital, and left the other with  wounds.

Pasco police had responded to 524 South Sycamore for a report of a man lying on the sidewalk.  Police found the victim, 34-year-old Kelly Joe Ragsdale, suffering from several stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital.

Police also found 41-year-old Aaron Mikel Scott inside the home, he too was injured. He is now facing assault charges for allegedly stabbing Ragsdale, and is in the Franklin County jail.

But what police are trying to solve now is what the two men were doing at the residence. Neighbors say the home has been boarded up for some time and no one has been living there. No for sale or other transaction signs have been posted onsite either.  Pasco police crews are seen wearing protective gear as they search the home, just in case there's any dangerous drug or other substances inside the home.

This is often done as a precaution in case any meth was being made inside.
