It was their eyes, actually, that helped police find a vehicle that was reported stolen last Wednesday.

Pasco police report this green jeep was taken from the owner's residents sometime late Wednesday, early Thursday.

Then Sunday, an Explorer police cadet who was riding with an officer spotted the vehicle. Police quickly pulled it over, and the driver, Joshua C. DeVleming, was arrested for auto theft. He's in the Franklin County Jail, the vehicle was returned to it's owner, and there was a little friendly debate between the Explorer and the officer as to who really saw the vehicle first.
