Authorities say the arrest of three men means a recent string of burglaries have "been solved."

According to information Tuesday from Sgt. Ken Lattin of the Kennewick Police Department, 20-year-old Isia Alvarez, 18-year-old Ezekiel Sanchez of Kennewick and 20-year-old Gabriel A. Guizar-Lopez of Pasco are in custody in the Benton County jail.

Lattin says the trio have been linked to at least 12 burglaries in Kennewick, one in Richland, and could be responsible for another 12! The burglaries began to occur towards the end of 2014, and continued into this year.

The three are facing a variety of charges including, multiple counts of residential burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm.

Evidence from the Tri-Cities Crime lab linked them to the crime, and additional evidence has been sent to the Washington State Patrol Crime lab for analysis.  Latting says the method of forced entry was cutting screens and opening, forcing open or breaking windows.
