Kennewick Teen Stabbed While Playing Basketball

Police have apprehended a 16-year-old Richland boy involved in a stabbing at Eastgate Park in Kennewick. The suspect is being held in juvenile detention charged with Assault 1^st degree. A second suspect remains at large.

Saturday evening the teenager is believed to have stabbed another 16-year-old boy, who was later taken to Kennewick General Hospital. The victim said he was playing basketball at Eastgate Park when he was approached, chased, and stabbed by two he did not know. All three are known gang members and the incident is believed to be gang related.
