Police Seeking Suspect Who Crashed Car Into Tree

Early Thursday morning, Pasco police tried to pull over a driver, likely for a traffic violation, only to see them speed away.

The unknown driver led police on a chase near the Cable Bridge, then crashed their Ford Expedition into a tree and fled on foot. The tree they hit was near Washington and 13th. Streets.

No additional details were immediately released, but anyone who might recognize this vehicle or have any information is asked to contact the police department at (509)-545-3241. Information can be given anonymously.

It's a safe bet, this person had good reasons NOT to be behind the wheel, and that's why they fled.
