The citizens who utilize the Richland Dog Park (Pas-Abilities Place) are hoping they can win the big one.

The park has entered into a national competition, which will be granting a $100,000 grand prize to be used for upgrades and improvements.

Supporters of the park say they know funding is tight in Richland when it comes to upgrades at the popular site, and this would be "free money" from outside the area.  It would go a long way towards upgrading and improving the facility.

The Tri City Dog Park Society encourages citizens to get more information about the competition.

The website petsafe.org is where people can go to vote for Richland.  It's officially called the "Bark For Your Park" competition.

Let's see if we can help get some much welcome funding to enhance a great place for owners to take their furry friends.
