Richland police took a man into custody just after midnight Wednesday morning after he allegedly threatened to kill a neighbor, and refused to come out of his home.

Bob Wegner reportedly made threats against neighbor Jordan Jech and some friends earlier Tuesday night. Wegner refused to come out of his home, and after 6pm Benton County decided to call in the Tri-Cities Regional SWAT team.

Using flash bang grenades and other tools, authorities eventually forced Wegner from this home and he was taken into custody. What the threats were against the neighbor were not specifically made clear by authorities, but according to a comment on KNDU-TV's website, the man was reportedly egged on by the neighbors: (WARNING-some of this language may be offensive to some readers)

"I've seen the jack off in the interview. He and his friends are thieves and liars. He is NOT innocent. He's a piece of excrement who pushed a man to the edge and now is playing the victim."

(Name of poster withheld, can be seen at KNDU-TV website).   Wegner was arrested without incident following the tear gas and flash bangs. The person making the comment did not elaborate further as to how they know the neighbor, but appeared to have had previous knowledge of this person's behavior.
