Perhaps the flimsiest excuse we've ever heard given by a criminal trespassing suspect was offered up early Monday morning in Kennewick.

Police responded to the grounds of Sunset View Elementary School on North Center Parkway around 1:30am Monday, on a report from a citizen of several people on the grounds making a lot of noise.

Upon arrival police found Skyla Hearne, who's age was not listed. She told authorities she was there to use the schools' WiFi. Police charged her with Second Degree Criminal Trespass. Police didn't find any damage to the property, but found what appeared to be very recent human feces by one of the buildings.

Two other people with Hearne were arrested, Austin Gussler and Ethan Gussenhoven. Gussler was charged with minor in possession of marijuana, and Gussenhoven on an outstanding warrant.
