Usually, shoplifters either run, or become like a deer in the headlights when confronted. But it seems lately, they're becoming more confrontational and violent. That was the case Wednesday afternoon at the Kennewick Ranch and Home on Columbia Center Boulevard.

Kennewick police are seeking information on this white male, in his early 20's who was caught shoplifting at the store. He then became violent, throwing punches at employees, then rocks at them as he fled the store.

He was last seen running East across Columbia Center Boulevard, but theft prevention workers lost sight of him after that.

He was last seen wearing jeans, no shoes, has dark shaggy hair. Police did not explain why he was shirt and shoeless.

Anyone with any information can report it anonymously to Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at (509)-586-TIPS.  A cash reward is available for information leading directly to the apprehension of a wanted suspect.
