Teenager Arrested for Richland Burglary Spree

Authorities Friday said a 17-year-old boy is in custody in connection with a string of burglaries dating back to September.

Richland officers and the Richland police blog reported since the end of September at least six break-ins could be linked to the teen, along with two malicious mischief incidents.

The burglaries occured the South and Central Richland business district. Officers didn't say HOW they were able to pinpoint the teen, but were able to find physical evidence linking him to the crimes, and he confessed.  Two accomplices have been arrested for allegedly participating in at least one of the burglaries.
