According to sources at Spectrum-Charter, there are some customers experiencing outages and difficulty with their internet, Wednesday morning in Tri-Cities.

Spectrum released a quick statement saying some damage caused by a car accident (apparently hitting a pole or electrical box) was causing some customers not to be able to log on in the Tri-Cities area, and repairs were being made as fast as possible.

We found a site called Downdectector.com, which we've used in the past to locate areas of reported outages. Two comments were posted at the site by someone in the 99352, or Richland area:

"Anybody know the ETA for 99352 to be back up?"

The comment was posted, according to the time stamp, around 9:40AM.  It is not known how many, if any, area schoolchildren have had their online lessons interrupted.
