Early Sunday morning, Oregon State Police officers subdued an "aggressive" suspect after he resisted them during a traffic stop.

35-year-old Daryl S. Frederickson, wanted on four outstanding warrants and considered a safety concern, was pulled over just after midnight Sunday morning near Island City near LaGrande.

The officers had seen his vehicle earlier and identified it as Frederickson's but lost sight of him. He was later spotted and pulled over. The car was stopped at gunpoint, but when Frederickson exited, he refused to obey their commands. Two Taser shots later he was taken into custody after a struggle.

He is facing a laundry list of charges, besides the resisting arrest at the traffic stop:

* Contempt of Court - Fail to appear on Felon in Possession of a Firearm (Hermiston Municipal Court)
* Three warrants out of Union County charging Unlawful Possession & Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine, and two separate counts of Fail to Appear - Theft in the Second Degree.
