Authorities are still searching for suspect.

Just before 3:30 am Monday, a Kennewick homeowner found a man inside their garage, attempting to steal various items.

The homeowner was awakened by the noise, and found the man had entered through a partially opened garage door.

No injuries were reported, and nothing was taken because the suspect fled before he could grab anything.   A K-9 Unit was dispatched but could not locate the suspect.

Police remind homeowners to make sure they not only lock their doors at home, but also secure garage and shed doors as well.
