The City of Pasco is getting a new aquatics center. Yay!

It's been in the planning stages for a couple of decades, and voters said, "get r done!" So it seems the project is moving forward.

What will it look like, once completed? Who knows? Artist renderings exist, but the Pasco Public Facilities District hasn't shared those images with the general public. According to the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business, they don't want to disappoint the public if the final facility doesn't look exactly like the original plans.

So we have no idea what the new aquatics center will actually look like, but we can guess it will be bigger than this:

But maybe not as exciting as this:

But word has it that the center will have a lazy river (sold!), a wave pool, and of course, slides. Whatever the final project looks like, it'll be better than running through the sprinklers.
