Pasco police and Franklin County Sheriff's are looking for a 37-year-old man who's wanted for allegedly assaulting his mother and an elderly couple Sunday.

Aaron James Hogan is wanted in connection with the 9am incident at his mother's apartment near Road 68 in Pasco. He is then believed to have broken into an elderly couple's dwelling not far away. He reportedly stole electronics and their van, then abandoned the vehicle in the 7100 block of Deseret.

Then, a report came in of a Dodge pickup that was stolen from Lotto's Bullpen Horse Training. That vehicle was also found abandoned Sunday night around 9:30pm near Foster Wells Road and Railroad Avenue North of Pasco. That location is just west of Highway 395 and the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Hogan is being sought for a warrant from the Department of Corrections, and is tied to several open investigations related to felony assault, burglary and car theft.
