This isn't the first time it's happened, and probably won't be the last.

According to the British Newspaper The Daily Mail, an unidentified woman in Bellevue, WA near Seattle didn't like the loud hum of a drone one of her neighbors was flying around earlier this week.

So, after unsuccessfully throwing at least two rocks at the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), she went inside. The neighbor, who was not identified in the story, videotaped the episode from a camera mounted on the unit.

But when she returned the pilot quickly buzzed away because the angry woman pointed a rifle at the drone! The Mail says it's not clear if she actually fired, but the pilot got the message.

They reportedly told the Mail they were flying their drone in the area, and saw their neighbor on her deck. She then began throwing objects at the drone. There was no mention if police were called or any charges filed.

This isn't the first time incidents like this have happened. Ever since the implementation and spreading of drone use, people have had their craft shot down by angry neighbors or others. In 2012, we reported an animal rights group using a drone to videotape a bird shoot at a private gun club in Pennsylvania had their drone shot out of the sky by one of the hunters. If you search YouTube, you will find numerous videos of people who shot down drones they felt were intruding upon their privacy.
Here is a video from YouTube and the Mail of some of the action.
