Benton City Pharmacy Robbed, Sheriff’s Searching for Armed Suspect
Just after 11am Tuesday, an armed suspect held up the Logar Pharmacy on 9th Street in Benton City.
Benton County Sheriff Jerry Hatcher said the armed suspect pointed a gun at the clerk, but instead of demanding cash, he told them he wanted "pills." The employee gave him some, what they were was not disclosed by authorities. The worker was not hurt.
The suspect, described as a black man wearing a dark ski mask, dark hoodie, and black pants with a red stripe down the side. Sheriff Hatcher said he left the scene driving a silver colored sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry.
He also was carrying a brown bag with the letters "H&M" in red on the side. Anyone with any information is asked to call (509)628-0333. All leads are confidential. He was last seen driving away northbound on 8th street from Dale Ave.
