Sunday morning, two drivers ended up getting citations but for very different reasons.

Kennewick police say the driver of the Honda SUV pictured in our story ran the stop sign at 19th and Olympia shortly before 7am, and churned through the intersection at full speed. Then, they slammed into the four-door sedan (pictured), causing extensive damage.

The SUV ended up in the fence, and while no one was said to be seriously injured, the SUV driver got a ticket for failure to yield.

But the driver of the vehicle who was struck, the accident not their fault, was cited for not having any valid insurance!
