After several days of double digit jumps, the confirmed/probable COVID case count in Benton-Franklin Counties appears to be slowing a bit.

The count for Wednesday, April 8, shows 343,  the same as Tuesday, although a few additional deaths were reported.

Between March 30-31, cases jumped by 22,  Between 3-31 and 4-1 by 35, Between April 2-3-4, up by 25 and 23 respectively.  But April  5 to 6, went up by 9, then shows even more leveling off.

Here's the latest data from Wednesday:

  • CONFIRMED CASES:  Benton County 190, Franklin County 73
  • PROBABLE CASES:     Benton County 50, Franklin County 30
  • DEATHS                   :     Benton County 20,  Franklin County 2
