
Crash Snarls Traffic West Kennewick, Driver Flees Accident Scene
Authorities were said to be using a drone to search for a suspect who allegedly fled the scene of a multi-car crash Tuesday morning.
BENTON COUNTY DEPUTIES SEARCHED FOR DRIVER WITH DRONE
According to KAPP-KVEW TV, Benton County Deputies were using a drone to search for one driver in the three-vehicle crash.
It occurred on West 10th and the intersection of South Sunnyvale Drive. This is a section of road between I-82 and Steptoe...west of Steptoe.

The crash, which happened around 7:30AM, resulted in 2 persons being taken to area hospitals with injuries, no official report on their condition. Kennewick Police and Benton County Deputies were seen heading towards Steptoe shortly after the crash, for a report of one of the three drivers fleeing the scene.
Because of this incident, Amon Creek Elementary school near Steptoe was briefly locked down. A K-9 was brought in between 8:30 and 8:45AM to help in the search.
No word if any suspect has been caught. More details are expected soon.
