After surrendering a two run lead to the Spokane Indians, who rallied to tie the game in the top of the ninth, the Tri-City Dust Devils Sean Guilbe induced a 10th inning bases loaded walk that sent the team to Hillsboro for Saturday night's (9/7) opening game of the title series against the Northwest League South champion Hops.

The Dust Devils led early getting a run in each of the first two frames on clutch two-out RBI singles. That 2-0 lead held up all the way until the ninth when Spokane came back to tie things up. Guilbe's walk-off walk ended the drama in the tenth.

The best-of-five NWL Championship Series begins tonight (Saturday) at Ron Tonkin Field.

After playing the first two games in Hillsboro, the Dust Devils will host Game 3 on Monday and if necessary Game 4 on Tuesday along with Game 5 on Wednesday.

First pitch for all games at Gesa Stadium will be at 7:15 pm.

Go Dust Devils!
