Fatal Choking Incident That Killed 2-Year-Old Investigated

A Richland boy who choked while under care of a nanny died this week, and the incident is being investigated.

Authorities say everyone involved is cooperating fully. Richland emegency responders were called to a home about a two-year-old boy who was choking.

David Thomas Schreiber, the boy, was rushed to Kadlec Regional Medical Center, then to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, but died.

Officials are declining to release more information, and the Spokane County Medical Examiner will conduct the autopsy. No other information has been released.
