WHAT HAPPENED AT APPLEBEES?
33-year-old Antonio Ayala Ponce of Pasco was arrested after an 11:30 PM knife fight in the parking lot of the Pasco restaurant on Road 68.
He was corralled in the nearby Panda Express lot by McDonalds, after Officers noticed a suspicious person matching his description there.
WHAT TRIGGERED THE INCIDENT?
According to Pasco PD, the victims, whose names were not released, said Ponce was hassling them and trying to pick a fight with them inside Applebee's. The victim became so unsettled they just decided to leave and hoped it would end, but Ponce followed them into the parking lot. One of the persons, a woman, was slashed but not seriously hurt.
At the scene, Police found injuries on her and bloody clothing. Ponce is also facing charges for allegedly stealing a semi parked nearby. No word how far he got with that endeavor, but now he's in the Franklin County jail.
And, he's likely to miss the next happy hour at Applebees.
