Fleeing Shoplifter Punches Worker in Face, Then Drops Cellphone
A 33-year-old woman won't be hard to find, she left behind enough evidence after fleeing from the Moses Lake Home Depot.
Moses Lake Police say Misty Baker was shoplifting in a not so stealthy manner at the store on North Central Drive, but when confronted by a loss prevention officer and store worker, she punched the employee in the face.
She then fled the store, but dropped her cellphone which was quickly retrieved by Police. Making things even better for Baker, the phone was open to her Facebook page, and she escalated herself from a misdemeanor shoplifting theft to Felonious Assault with the punch.
She was also captured on store surveillance cameras. She's now facing two felonies and multiple charges. Should have applied for that Home Depot credit card instead.
