Tonight the Tri-City Americans and CH2M Hill celebrate our atomic heritage with the 5th Annual Nuclear Night.

In 2009, the Americans teamed with the Hanford cleanup contractor to sponsor a night honoring the unique atomic heritage of the Tri-Cities. The Nuclear Night jerseys and apparel have been among the most popular with fans.

Here's a look at what the Ams will be wearing Friday when they take on Seattle.

They're a mix of modern and throw-back with the old black-and-gold three stars from the early days.

Instead of the three stars down the side of the triangle representing Richland, Pasco and Kennewick, there are three atoms.

These jerseys will be auctioned off and sold after the game to benefit the Americans Player's Continuing Education Fund.

How do they compare to previous jerseys? Take a look at others worn in Nuclear Night history. Yes, they're positively glowing!
