As the effort continues to repeal portions or all of Obamacare, many businesses and industries are pushing to get "waivers", or temporary exemptions from the controversial plan--and Nancy Pelosi's District is scoring big time.

Nearly 20 percent of the new Obamacare waivers have gone to business in the Congressional District represented by Nancy Pelosi, but the kicker?  Restaurants and high-end eateries. 27 health care and drug companies have been granted one year passes from Obamacare-not unusual since they are directly involved in the health care industry.  Not surprising either, are the 31 union waivers approved by the Obama administration.   National union leadership played big role in helping elect Obama, so many view this as a payoff.  But 38 waivers have been granted in Pelosi's Northern CA district (which includes San Francisco) and have gone to restaurants, and even spas.  When contacted by The Daily Caller News Source, some of the spa owners claim the economy and some health care changes that have already gone into place have 'devasted' the industry.  The Administration claims waivers are handled on a case by case basis, to see if exempting the business would prevent people from losing jobs or losing health care plans until the new Obamacare goes into effect (ironic, because many view the plan as already dead).   It would be curious to see how many of these establishments either supported or are patronized by Pelosi herself...
