Homeless Man Believed to Have Started Pasco Brush Fire
Pasco police now say they're searching for a suspect wanted in connection with the brush fire that scorched numerous acres near 13th Lane and Washington Streets Sunday.
The fire was reported Sunday afternoon, and police went door to door, having a number of area residents evacuate as a precaution. Fortunately no one was injured and no property damage occurred.
Pasco and other fire units subdued the blaze, but now it's turned into an arson investigation..
Monday Pasco police said they are seeking a white male suspect. He was wearing white t-shirt, blue shorts, and has white hair. Reports indicate the man is homeless. According to witnesses, he was seen setting the fire then running away.
