A new study shows that the amount of illegal marijuana seized in Washington State has dropped by surprising amounts according to news reports. U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration says the amount of plants seized was down by almost 80 percent from 2010. The amount of marijuana product seized was around a quarter of what was seized just 5 years ago from over 3,000 pounds to just over 600 pounds.

Law enforcement attributes the loss to better cooperation between law enforcement. I tend to think it has more to do with legalization then anything, but that's just me.
