It's not Mardi Gras, or a costume contest...13 illegals have been arrested on the US-Mexican Border...guess what they were wearing?

March 14, near Pine Valley CA, a search of a large white van revealed the 13 passengers were illegals who were wearing US Marine fatigue uniforms.  Each of the people had the name "Perez" on the front pocket where a soldier's last name is displayed.  Two white occupants in the drivers and front passenger seats were determined to be smugglers attempting to get the illegals over the border.   The license plate for the van had been stolen from a military cargo truck, according to a check of Marine records, and the vehicle had successfully crossed the border at Mexicali. It was not until Border Patrol agents at Pine Valley found the van to be suspicious after noticing the license plate had been altered to make a "zero" on the plate look like an 8.  A press release from the Customs and Border Patrol agencies said this illustrates the efforts people in Mexico and the US will go to try to get illegals into this country.   The van was registered out of Yucca CA.   Often, US citizens find a lucrative trade in smuggling, often charging over a thousand dollars to lure illegals with the promise of safe passage into the US--often accompanied with fraudulent papers to allow them to blend in.
