Jacknifed Semi Pins Pickup Against Barrier in Accident

No one was injured but traffic snarled just south of the Highway 240 and 395 interchange ( just past the south base of Blue Bridge) Monday evening after a semi became jacknifed. Kennewick police and the Washington State Patrol responded.

Sources say the truck apparently had slowed or briefly stopped due to traffic flow and drifted backwards, ending up jacknifed. No injuries, but it took several hours to clear.

A pickup was partially smashed against the concrete jersey barrier in the wreck.
