Detectives tracking a string of Jan. 1 car prowls in the Canyon Lakes area now have two suspects in custody.

Tuesday, police released information that a 33-year-old man and 44-year-old woman are in the Benton County jail on theft, stolen property, and narcotics possession charges.

New Year's Day several debit and credit cards were stolen in the vehicle prowls in the area of Canyon Lakes, and were later used at various locations in the Tri-Cities. After tracking the purchases, police have arrested 33-year-old Anthony Falasco and 44-year-old Teresa Harkey, who were arrested at a home on South Kirby Private Road Southeast in Finley.

Police found evidence linking them to the car prowls at the home, as well as suspected meth at the house. Both suspects booked on the narcotics issue, and Falasco is also facing identity theft charges.  The investigation continues.
