Kennewick Fire Crews Save Home, Others, From Large Shed-Barn Fire [VIDEO]
With our hot dry weather, it doesn't take much to set off a blaze.
Wednesday afternoon (July8) Kennewick Fire crews responded to the 4300 block of South Washington Street about a large residential fire.

When they arrived, they found a large shed-barn building engulfed in flames, and it had also spread to a pair of vehicles. Crews were able to beat down the fire, and prevent it from reaching the primary home or other structures.
Crews Remained on Scene To Ensure no Flareups
Officials have not yet said what triggered the blaze, but the investigation continues. Temperatures are 'cooling' into the low 90's even 89, but dry weather combined with breezes has kept fire danger high or critically high. Red-flag warnings still in effect all over the Columbia Basin.
No injuries to persons or animals were reported.
