Kennewick Hit-and-Run Driver Takes Out Garage Door – Police Looking for White Truck

Kennewick police are searching for the driver of a full-size late model white truck that plowed into a garage door March 14.

In the early morning hours around 2:40 a.m. police report a vehicle was headed south on Union Street when it tried to turn West onto 7th. Ave. The truck was moving too fast to make the turn and plowed through the stop sign slamming into the garage door of a home at 4401 W. 7th.

The truck was last seen speeding away Westbound on 7th Ave. Police say the vehicle will be easy to spot because it sustained significant front-end damage.

Because the information has already been forwarded to area body shops and repair facilities, the driver might have a hard time getting it fixed! Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Kennewick Police Department at 509-582-1316.
