Kennewick Hit-And-Run Victim Identified

As the investigation continues into a fatal collision Tuesday evening, the Benton County Coroner has released the identity of the wheelchair victim.

Mark Brown Sr., 49, of Kennewick, was trying to cross South Washington Street near 8th when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.

The Coroner says he suffered sever head trauma, and was pronounced dead at TRIOS Emergency Center in Kennewick. Officials say an autopsy is planned very soon, likely before the end of the week.
