Kennewick Police Seeking Sex Offender – Failed to Register And Report

Police are seeking this man, for escaping from community custody.

54-year-old Michael Karl Flaucher is a level-two sex offender, who's wanted for failing to fulfill requirements of registration and monitoring.

Escape from community custody simply means a convicted criminal who's not confined in jail or prison violates any of the terms of his "freedom", including monitoring, registering as a sex offender, or reporting as required to authorities or parole officers.  In other words, he's gotten "into the wind" or disappeared.

Flaucher has, say Kennewick police, failed to register and not informed authorities of his whereabouts.  He is listed as a transient in Benton County.
