Kennewick Private School Receives Online Threat From Utah

Kennewick police report St. Joseph's school in Kennewick received an online threat made towards students and faculty at the facility, located on 4th Ave in Kennewick.

According to Kennewick police:

"Yesterday, (Sunday) St. Joseph School received a threat via Facebook to student safety. We take these threats very seriously and have been working to identify the source of the threat and provide extra security at the school. We have identifies the person who made the threat and confirmed that he is currently in Utah. We are working with Utah authorities with this investigation. At this time there is no danger to students and we continue to work very closely with St. Joseph’s school administration to provide a safe learning environment for our students."

Police didn't release any other information, or say why somebody in Utah would be making threats against a school in Washington state. The investigation continues.
