Last Minute Adventure? Go Dig Up a Woolly Mammoth!
If you're looking for some fun this pre-fair weekend, why not try this?
For several years now, scientists have been carefully moving dirt and extracting the remains of a mammoth that was found in Coyote Canyon.
This coming Saturday, you can join in the observing! The Coyote Canyon Mammoth Dig is taking place from 8am to 4pm, you get to see it. Not only will this guided tour include the site, but you will also visit Wallula Gap, Devils Canyon and more to see other Ice Age sites!
Transportation provided to the sites, just meet up at The Reach Museum, 1943 Columbia Park Trail in Richland. Fat Olives will provide lunch for all those on the tour, for prices and details, click here!
