Motocycle Crash Kills Rider East of Pendleton

Authorities now say the rider apparently collided with the guardrail on I-84, he later died of his injuries.

Around 3:30pm, Oregon State Troopers responded to a call about the crash, East of Pendleton.  Upon arrival they found the rider lying on road.

The rider had been headed East, when for unknown reasons, he veered off the road and struck the guardrail. He was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in Walla Walla but was pronounced later as deceased due to his injuries.

The identity of the rider has not yet been released.
