Multiple Engines Battle Lakeside Apartments Fire in Kennewick

According to Kennewick Police, and several witnesses we checked with, the fire is at the Lakeside Apartments in Kennewick at the northeast corner of Clearwater and Edison.

Witness says building G is on fire

Shortly after 8 PM we received word there was a fire at the complex, and multiple units were dispatched. According to witnesses, at least 18 engines were dispatched.

Smoke can be seen billowing from the roof of one of the buildings, a witness who supplied one of the photos to us said it was building G.

We don't yet know what triggered the fire, or if any injuries. As of 8:22 PM according to Kennewick Police, the northbound lanes of Edison are blocked at the scene for firefighting purposes.
