New Poll Suggests Didier Leading Slightly + Lots of Undecided Voters
According to a very recent FreedomWorks poll, Clint Didier is leading Dan Newhouse by a margin of 35 to 33 percent, but 26 percent say they are undecided.
You've often heard of FreedomWorks on the Mark Levin Show on Newstalk 870. It's a group of conservative political activists, with over 6 million members nationwide. These activists support Constitutionally-grounded candidates who believe in conservative values.
According to a release about the poll:
According to the poll, a 54 percent majority of voters would prefer their next Representative to go in a new and different direction than outgoing Congressman Hastings, which points to Didier’s favor as a grassroots-backed fiscal conservative. Fourth District voters are five times as likely to back a candidate who has support from grassroots conservative groups (60 percent) than one who is propped up by insiders and the Party establishment (12 percent).
Interviews were conducted by the polling company, inc./ WomanTrend from September 16-17, 2014 at a Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) facility by telephone and with live callers. Respondents were selected randomly from registered voter list"
The overall margin of error for the poll was +4.9 percent. While the race is close, the poll indicates whether voters have made up their mind, they DO know they want A) leadership in a different direction and B), not an establishment, "party machine" candidate.
