No Keys? No Problem–Thieves Push Car Away From Home
We thought, how were they able to turn the wheel, because to do so requires the keys...to unlock the steering column.
Pasco Police are seeking a 1994 grey Honda Civic, basically looking exactly like this one (This is NOT the car stolen) that was pushed away from a home in the 1700 block of N. 19th.
Two men were seen pushing the vehicle away from the home around 3:30AM Wednesday morning. A neighbor who saw the men told the owner about it. It is not known how soon they did, the owner reported it stolen as soon as he found out. But apparently the thieves were long gone by then. The vehicle was full of gas, said the owner, but the thieves couldn't start it...without the keys.
Honda Civics remain one of the top five most stolen vehicles in America, especially the 90's models. Anyone who happens to see a grey Honda matching this general description (it's completely stock) call (509)-628-0333.
Again, we wonder how they were able to turn the wheel without the keys?
