Winter conditions and a possible rockslide is the cause of a train derailment this morning in North Idaho.

Boundary County Emergency Management, BNSF, ISP, Boundary CSO/EMS/Fire are on the scene of a train derailment in the area east of Bonners Ferry in north Idaho.

Reports say that two workers from inside the train are fine and no injuries were reported.

3 locomotives and 6 freight cars slid off the tracks east of Bonners Ferry in North Idaho.

Crews are at work to remove the engines from the Kootenai River.

40 trains use the same tracks daily with stops in Seattle and Chicago, an investigation is underway. You can check out more details on the accident here.
